Cleaning Guidelines

Plates

Dishes must be returned washed and completely clean. Washing by hand or using a ‘china’ setting* on a dishwasher is acceptable.

Renters have found that the large round drink coolers filled with some water are a great way to stack and soak dirty plates, and makes cleaning much easier!

Failure to return these items clean will forfeit your deposit money.

*Please note, if you use anything other than a ‘china’ setting on a dishwasher, the dishes will craze and crack, and this will forfeit your deposit money being returned.

Glassware

Glassware must be returned washed and completely clean (no lipstick markings). Washing by hand or using a ‘china’ setting* on a dishwasher is acceptable.

Failure to return these items clean will forfeit your deposit money.

*Please note, if you use anything other than a ‘china’ setting on a dishwasher, the glasses will get a film on them that is nearly impossible to clean off, and this will forfeit your deposit money being returned.

Candlesticks

Candlesticks must be returned completely clean (no wax drippings) and dry.

Hot water is a great way to loosen any wax drippings, which you can then clean off with a paper towel. Once rinsed, please make sure the candlesticks are completely dry before packing into the storage containers. If they are not completely dry, they will rust!

Failure to return these items clean and dry will forfeit your deposit money.

Bud Vases

Bud vases must be returned completely clean. We DO NOT recommend dishwashing these, as dishwashing will leave water spots that are very hard to remove.

Renters have found that using a small scrub brush inside the bottle, along with some soapy water, works well for cleaning.

Failure to return these items clean will forfeit your deposit money.
